Lift facilities monitoring and dispatching system "VEZHA consists of lift monitoring blocks controlling the operation of each elevator, GPRS-gateway which transmits data to monitoring system servers and workstations of operators in the central dispatching office.


Within a detached building all the information about the elevators performance, as well as control commands are transmitted with a single common connection cable to GPRS-Gateway. Each building is connected through its GPRS- gateway to one of the system servers. Due to it the operator’s program connected to both servers can receive and transmit data to any remote monitoring object.

The advantages of such a system construction:


1.Economic efficiency:

  • A single one GSM-GPRS transmitter which requires only one mobile operator package is installed in one building regardless of lift number;
  • Due to GPRS-technology usage the cost of system work within one building does not exceed 5 UAH per month.


2.Reliability:

  • Backup server usage in no way influences the system work cost but it greatly increases its reliability;
  • GPRS technology allows to react instantly to any changes in the system performance, including the connection with each remote object of monitoring and dispatching system;
  • There is a visual confirmation of all the commands implementation on the screen that allows the operator to control the system correctness.


3.Responsiveness:

  • Round-the-clock TCP-connection of all monitoring objects with system servers allows to declare 100% quarantee for any information delivery in the shortest possible time (0,5-5 seconds).


4.Security:

  • The system is constructed in such a way that even in case of complete failure of both servers the system continues to fulfill its basic functions ( voice communication and lift power management) by emergency transfer of the monitoring system to data transfer via short messsages (SMS);
  • All the data transmitted via Internet, is subject to precoding by the encryption system, which helps protect the work of monitoring and dispatching system from outside hacker attacks.
